Oliver Haarmann is a Founding Partner of Searchlight Capital, an investment firm with over $10 billion under management. He serves on the Investment Committee, Operating Committee and Valuation Committee, and is jointly responsible for overseeing the Firm’s activities with the two other Founding Partners. Prior to co-founding Searchlight, Mr. Haarmann was a senior partner at KKR & Co L.P. (“KKR”) in London. He helped build KKR’s European business from a start-up into one of Europe’s leading private equity firms. He received a BA in both international relations and history from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
In addition to Aspire Institute, Oliver is engaged in various educational philanthropic initiatives. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Brown University. He serves as Chairman of IntoUniversity, a leading educational charity providing young people with educational support and university access through 39 centers across the UK.
