This past month at our Pakistan Foundry, we took Pakistani alumni to an under-resourced government school where Teach for Pakistan fellow and ALP Alumnus Kainat Rohail works. The purpose of the visit was to conduct a session on available scholarships in universities across Pakistan and highlight exchange programs accessible to Pakistani students. Alumni who have benefited from these scholarships and exchange programs were invited to share their experiences with the students.
Our pro tips for success for young girls included: making many friends, enhancing communication skills, developing cultural understanding, and expanding their knowledge base. Our accomplished Habib Raza, Hassan Mehmood, Muhammad Sohaib Murtaza, and Daud Khan joined us at this event.
